Who this service is designed for

  • Editors who have picture lock but need dedicated colour finishing
  • Wedding studios matching mixed cameras and changing light
  • Music and commercial teams working toward a defined visual direction
  • Creators who need consistent series or channel presentation

Projects and deliverables that can be scoped

  • Exposure and white-balance correction
  • Shot-to-shot and multicamera matching
  • Skin-tone care within source limitations
  • Look development from an agreed reference
  • Selective masks and restrained secondary correction
  • Web, social and agreed master exports

Final inclusions, duration, resolution, aspect ratios, revision rounds, source-file hand-off and schedule are confirmed after the material and brief are reviewed.

A grade cannot replace missing exposure, focus or image data

Source material is checked before style promises are made. Log profiles, camera transforms, proxies, baked-in looks, compression and picture lock all affect what can be achieved. Difficult repair work is separated from normal correction and grading.

Jamallta Films does not promise an outcome that the source footage cannot support. Missing media, damaged audio, severe exposure problems, unlicensed assets or a changing brief can alter feasibility, schedule and price.

Questions clients ask before sending footage

What is the difference between correction and grading?

Correction balances exposure, white balance and consistency. Grading develops the approved visual character after the material is technically coherent.

Can you match footage from different cameras?

Often, yes, within the limits of each recording format, exposure, lens, lighting and compression. Representative source files are reviewed first.

Do you use DaVinci Resolve?

DaVinci Resolve is one of the professional tools used for colour work. The workflow is chosen around media compatibility and required delivery.

Should the edit be locked before grading?

A stable picture lock is preferred. Later timing changes can require reconform and additional checking.
