Who handles your data

Information we collect

• Name, phone, email, city and preferred contact method.
• Event date, venue, schedule, family contact, selected services and references.
• Quotation, booking, invoice, transaction-status and payment records. We do not ask for OTPs, UPI PINs or banking passwords.
• Messages, feedback, music choices, shot preferences and files you send by WhatsApp, email, form or delivery service.
• Basic technical and security logs supplied by our website host. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

Why we use it

• To answer enquiries, check availability and prepare a quotation.
• To plan shoots, coordinate people, edit media and deliver the agreed work.
• To process payments, maintain accounts, provide support and resolve disputes.
• To protect website and project security and meet lawful tax, accounting, court or government requirements.
• To send optional marketing only where appropriate and with a lawful basis or consent.

Photos, videos and family events

Wedding material can contain faces, voices, children, locations, rituals and private family moments. We use it for the agreed production, editing, delivery, support and archive purposes. Identifiable work is published in a portfolio or promotion only with the permission required by the booking agreement and applicable law. Optional promotional permission may be withdrawn for future use in writing.

Sharing, storage and security

We do not sell personal information. Necessary information or media may be shared with authorised crew, editors, album vendors, delivery providers, payment providers or technical services when required for the project. Access is limited by role and need. Reasonable account, device, storage and vendor controls are used, but no internet system can promise absolute security.

Retention and deletion

Enquiry information is kept only while needed for communication, follow-up or legal records. Booking, invoice and payment records may be kept for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law. Raw footage, project files and backups may be deleted after delivery or a practical archive period unless a written storage arrangement says otherwise. Approved deletion requests remain subject to legal, payment, security, backup and dispute requirements.

Cookies, maps, search and AI tools

The public site does not currently use advertising cookies. The Google Map does not connect until you choose to load it. Public pages may be indexed by search engines and AI discovery crawlers according to robots.txt. Private client media is not intended for public indexing or public AI-model training. If optional analytics or advertising is added, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated first.

Your choices and rights

• Ask for a summary of personal information held about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request erasure where retention is not legally or operationally required.
• Withdraw optional consent and opt out of promotional messages.
• Raise a grievance and exercise further rights as applicable provisions come into force.

Services are booked by adults. If family media includes a child, the parent or lawful guardian may contact us about its handling and promotional use.

Privacy requests and complaints

Email jamalltafilms@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request” and enough information to identify the project. We may ask for reasonable identity verification. Do not send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, full bank statements or identity documents unless a specific lawful need has first been explained.
