What seven working days means

It is a target for a clearly defined standard edit, confirmed in writing. A working day is a normal Jamallta Films operating day; Sundays, notified public holidays and notified studio closures do not count unless the quotation says otherwise. The quotation also states whether the target is for a first preview or final export.

Day 1 starts only after “ready to edit” confirmation

Day 1 normally begins on the next working day after Jamallta Films confirms that all original files are complete and usable; the brief, duration, titles, references and output formats are approved; supplied music and assets are authorised; and any amount due before editing has been received. Uploading files alone does not start the clock.

What may qualify—and what normally needs longer

• Short Reels, Shorts, simple creator edits, wedding teasers, talking-head videos and other clearly scoped standard edits may qualify after actual footage review.
• Full traditional wedding films, multi-event footage, large data volumes, bulk versions, complex audio, heavy After Effects/VFX, difficult repair, restoration and albums require a separate schedule.
• Source quality limits the result. Missing focus, permanently clipped audio or absent shots cannot always be repaired.
• If a material delay becomes known, an updated estimate will be communicated.

Review, revisions and when timing pauses

• Feedback should arrive as one consolidated, time-coded list from the authorised decision-maker.
• Only the revision rounds and changes stated in the written quotation are included.
• Late or conflicting feedback, missing files, replacement footage, delayed approval or payment pauses or extends the target.
• A new song, changed duration, redesigned story, extra version, new footage or additional revision is new scope and may receive a new price and date.
• Supervised sit-with-editor sessions follow the separately booked studio slot and attended decisions.

Delivery method and review

• Files may be delivered by private link, agreed cloud drive, physical storage or another written method.
• Check downloaded files promptly and report technical issues with the project reference.
• Format, resolution, revision allowance, raw/project-file inclusion, physical-media cost and album approval must be confirmed before final delivery.

Backups are not permanent storage

Keep your own downloaded backup. Project media may be removed after delivery or a practical archive period unless separate written storage is agreed. Retention and deletion also follow the Privacy Policy.
